Principal's Message

Dear Dyer-Kelly Families,

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am excited to serve as Dyer-Kelly Elementary School's principal. I have been dedicated to the field of education for the last 25 years, with 23 years in the San Juan Unified School District. Before joining Dyer-Kelly, I worked as a vice-principal for two years and a teacher for 23 years in the San Juan Unified School District. It is truly an honor to be a part of the Dyer-Kelly Community.

One of the most important aspects of my work here at Dyer-Kelly will be building solid relationships with students, families, and teachers. You'll find me in the hallways, classrooms, and at community events at Dyer-Kelly. My passion has always been ensuring all students have a high-quality education. With that in mind, you can expect that I will work diligently with teachers to make sure our students are exposed to a curriculum and instruction that is both engaging and challenging.

As we reflect on the last school year, we are so proud of the work done by our students, parents, and teachers. We hope to build on the support and successes of last year and look forward to our continued partnership. I believe that students are at the center of all school-related decisions, and the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students. I encourage you to become involved in every way possible.
